GCE to conduct energy audit at “KazZinc”
Within the framework of the law “On energy saving and increasing energy efficiency” the GCE Group energy auditors will conduct energy audit at Ridder metallurgical complex.

Last week LLC “GCE – Energy” (which is a subsidiary of the international “GCE Group” of companies) and “KazZinc” have signed a contract to conduct a comprehensive energy audit of the Ridder metallurgical complex (plant produces 110,000 tons of zinc metal of high grade and zinc-aluminium alloys per year). GCE Group experts will reach the city Ridder today, on June 10, to conduct primary measurements. Based on the results of the energy audit conclusions will be made for the development of energy saving with the list of steps, the implementation of which will significantly reduce energy resource consumption.

Ivan Pavlyuchenko, Director of the Kazakhstan enterprise of the GCE Group tells that as per the experience of the international group’s energy auditors, at the metallurgical enterprises fuel is used least effectively compared to other types of energy.  Therefore energy saving potential of 15% can be achieved at Ridder complex.
Work is expected to be completed by December 2013.
